We stayed for two nights and wished that we could have stayed longer. Our room was beautiful and only steps from the beach. Yes, the sand was black. The water was warm, no rocks, with perfect waves for boogie boarding and almost no undertow. The pool was spectacular with wonderful service. Everything was included; bikes, mini-golf, tennis. The hotel food and service was excellent. My husband and teenage son enjoyed golfing while my younger son and I flew kites on the beach.

Just a quick recap for upcoming travelers: 1) will not find long rows waiting for check-in & out 2) customer service is great 3) rooms are very spacious - all ammenities inside the room did worked 4) the combination of pool & beach is one of the best in the island 5) remember to enjoy your Mojito in the pool (this is one of the best drinks for under $8 --- just compare to other hotels) 6) the beach is completely private 7) the food is excellent, there are several alternatives in-house...just go to La Terraza Restaurant at the center of the hotel, when you can eat ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT buffet for just $22.00 pp 8) parking for guests is $8/day if you park it yourself, walking distance is just 30 seconds My advice, enjoy your visit!!!

The hotel was wonderful. My husband is from Ponce, so we visit frequently. I felt the hotel was a great vacation from family. It had many "American" commodities but it retained the Puerto Rican flavor. Loved our room - was comfortable temperature wise without air. Just opened the door to the balcony and turned on the fan. Loved it and will stay again next time we go.

Hotel had great location and great view. Close to downtown Ponce and La Guancha. However the beach was very dissapointing. Black sand and not so clear water. However the pool area made up for it was beautiful and clean. Also, included in the room rate was bicycles, tennis rackets, ping pong, playground for the kids etc. Would defenetly stay here again.

We stayed at the Ponce Hilton executive tower building for 16 nights. I had a skin emergency and the front desk was excellent. Our room was oceanfront and the views of the ocean and mountains were spectacular. We used the lovely pool and lounge area daily. The security is superb. We have already recommended this hotel to our friends. The only complaint I have is that 1 maid screams to the other maids out loud every morning. And, they are too lazy to change sheets. I had to call housekeeping to get my sheets changed. Otherwise, it was a fabulous experience. We will most definitely return to this hotel. A rental car is needed. Lots of places to shop, dine & sightsee.
